Colorado Springs, Colorado 2008
In May of 2008, Meaghan and I joined her family for a trip out to Colorado Springs, Colorado to celebrate her grandmother's 80th birthday. The dinner recpetion was held at the famous Broadmoor Hotel and we were given the opportunity during our five day stay to fully indulge ourselves. We spent one of the days there recreating the beginning leg of our Sojourn trip by traveling down to the Great Sand Dunes. On the way, we passed one of my favorite photographs from that series Land For Sale. I used the opportunity in the twilight to rephotograph that space and turn it into a panorama. The following day, we ventured to one of the tallest points in America: Pike's Peak.
